Cueva de los Monos

For those of you who don't know, that means "Cave of the Monkeys." Hooray! This was on the road to Samaipata, in the foothills of the Andes. And by foothills they mean towering pinnacles of rock and plunging ravines, with the occasional sheer-faced cliff. Apparently behind this rock is a really cool region of volcanoes and crater lakes, so I hope to be able to visit again specifically to see this part. I made my host dad stop the car so I could take pictures, and I think it was worth it!
