I had exams all this week, which was... interesting. I did pretty well in Math and Geography, and I think I did okay in Biology, but Chemistry, Physics, and Literature were absolutely awful. Chemistry was really hard because it required me to know things I'd never learned, like the equivalent weight of elements, or the chemical equations for substances. Physics was hard for the same reasons (although there was one question I could have answered if I'd remembered to study the different types of mechanical energy and their equations), and literature.... well, I haven't really done anything in the class, because a) I don't need the credit, b) the teacher never tells me what we're doing, and c) she's evil. I did manage to explain the plot of Les Miserables, however. I won't be terribly worried if I don't pass Physics and Literature, but I really don't want to have to take chemistry again next year. Oh, and if I fail any exam, I will probably have to go to school for another two weeks. Which is not good.
I was riding the micro (bus) yesterday to get to a friend's house, and it rear-ended the bus in front of it while in a traffic jam. It was just a little bump, like not hitting the breaks soon enough, and neither of them were damaged, I just thought it was very, very funny, in a nervous sort of way. I'm going to have quite a few stories about public transportation when I get back.
It's getting hotter and hotter in Bolivia... I'll be looking forward to that unlimited pool pass.
That's about all for now... here's a feature of my recent favorites!
